Cleto Mhuru serves as Lead Pastor of New Beginnings Fellowship in Fort Frances, Ontario, alongside his wife, Blessing. Together, they are passionate about helping people encounter Jesus Christ, experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, and grow as disciples who make disciples. Cleto is committed to preaching the Gospel, equipping believers for ministry, and raising up Christ-centered leaders who impact their families, communities, and the nations. Their ministry emphasizes prayer, revival, healing, evangelism, discipleship, and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit, with a vision to see people from every nation, tribe, and culture transformed by the good news of Jesus Christ.
Over the years, Cleto has ministered extensively across the globe, serving on mission assignments and ministry initiatives in Zimbabwe, Kenya, South Africa, China, Japan, Thailand, the United States, and Canada. He has also served in various international ministry networks and leadership boards dedicated to pastoral training, evangelism, leadership development, and global missions.
His educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication Studies, a Master of Philosophy in Second Language Studies, a Diploma in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry, a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, and advanced leadership training in the United States.
Blessing is a devoted wife, mother, intercessor, and compassionate woman of God who has a burden for women, families, and prayer ministry. She is passionate about nurturing women in their walk with Christ, encouraging spiritual growth, and creating a welcoming church family where people can experience God’s love and care. Her heart for prayer and discipleship continues to strengthen and enrich the life of their ministry.
Together, Cleto and Blessing are committed to building a Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered church where people can encounter God, discover their purpose, develop their gifts, and be equipped to impact their generation for Jesus Christ. They are blessed with four children, two adult sons and two daughters. They consider it a great privilege to serve the people of Fort Frances and beyond. Their prayer is to see lives transformed, families restored, and communities renewed through the power of the Gospel and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
